MVP Tryout Expectations & Policy
MVP strives to provide an open and fair tryout for all players through individual evaluation by a committee of coaches. Players are selected on a combination of factors including skill level, position, attitude and physical fitness.
Please try to arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled tryout to allow enough time to submit all paperwork and complete the registration process. Players should be dressed and ready to play at the start of their tryout time. If you are attending multiple tryouts and there is an overlap among the times, please let us know so we can work with you to best accommodate your plans (i.e. leaving a little early, or arriving a little late).
MVP Tryout Paperwork
1. Signed Tryout Packet - at the top of this page (Tryout Information Form, Player/Parent Contract, Tournament Schedule Form, Appropriate Medical Release/Liability Forms)
2. Copy of Player's Birth Certificate
3. Register/Renew with USA Volleyball
4. Tryout Fee of $40, Payable to Mount Pleasant Volleyball (No refunds will be given on tryout fees.)

USAV Registration Process
* Players 18U and Younger
When entering information - enter your parent's email address, not the player's email address. If you plan to tryout with more than one club, you must choose "undecided" as your club choice, you can then go back in later and change the undecided to the club you choose. You must register before you tryout or participate in practice. Payment will be made by your club, you do not pay at time of registration.
